our Italian American heritage and all the heritages of our communities.

Welcome to the Italian Catholic Federation ( ICF )

Discover a Warm and Welcoming Community!

Are you seeking a community in Marin that is committed to family values, your Catholic faith, and with a flair for heritage and tradition?

ICF has been an institution in the Bay Area for the past 100 years, composed of branches originally centered around San Franciso and now spread throughout the Western US.

Our focus is to strengthen our faith through commitment to family life, charitable works, and celebration of the many cultures that compose our American way of life.

the ICF

The Italian Catholic Federation (ICF) is family-oriented

We enjoy monthly gatherings over a very affordable ($20/person) family-style Italian meal complemented by a glass of vino or cocktail, if you please, while listening to music you might hear while strolling the Piazza San Marco.

If this sounds like fun (mind you, no cooking) please join us on the second Tuesday of the month at 5 PM at the Parish Hall at Our Lady of Loretto.

what we do

Our Mission

We support our local students, and provide various charities with financial and other support.

Diversity Students Friends Happiness Concept

Concept of housing for young family

Our local branch provides an annual $1000 Fr. Brian Costello scholarship, based on financial need and teachers’ recommendations.

Money generated through membership fees, individual donations, and fund-raising activities is provided to several charitable programs

Our monthly dinner meeting is our major get together.  We gather at the Parish Hall at OLL at 5PM, greet friends new and old, share a glass of wine, have a short business meeting.

ICF welcomes all interested Catholics to join us for our monthly dinner at OLL Parish Hall at 5PM where children are welcome.
